The Human Resources Department provides leadership in recruitment, selection, interviewing, and recommendation for employment of all new personnel of the District or the transfer of personnel within the District.  In addition, the department is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of employment policies and procedures for approximately 1,300 employees, as well as ensuring the District's compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations designed to provide and ensure equal employment opportunities for all individuals.
 

Administration of all District negotiations and labor relations policies and procedures are administered by the Human Resources Department. This ensures the equitable and fair implementation of negotiated master agreements, school board policies, and procedures as they relate to employment. The Department is also responsible for maintaining all records regarding staff employment and administers various District employee welfare programs such as the Employee Assistance Program.
